Community Outreach BNI 6/26/12

On June 26, 2012, Dr. Frandsen held a community outreach seminar at our office with a presentation on CAD-CAM technology.  CAD-CAM stands for computer aided design, computer aided mill.  Our office uses CAD-Cam technology to fabricate same-day crowns for our patients.  Using this technology, a tooth can be prepared and imaged, then a crown can be designed, milled, and delivered all in the same appointment.  This process saves the patient a conventional impression, a temporary crown, and a second visit to have the permanent crown delivered two weeks later.  Many of those in attendance at the seminar were members of BNI, a professional referral organization that Dr. Frandsen belongs to.
